How to describe the FR571… … … Burly!
If you want an utterly bombproof alloy rim, this is probably as good as it gets.
As a wheel builder you get a feel of how tough a rim is during the build process. These feel as stiff as carbon, certainly the stiffest alloy rim I’ve ever built.
They’re a chunky rim and picking one up you can tell, though they’re still 50g lighter than a Hope Fortus 30 rim!!! I know which one I’d rather have.
These come in both 27.5 & 29, however only come in 32h, further highlighting their burly intentions, perfect for a DH rig or E-bike especially for the bigger riders out there.
They’re still very new so numbers are pretty limited in black and even fewer in silver. So if you’re interested, give us a bell and check availability.
